Fresh off the press work from the studio!

Linc Energy is another Annual Report we're very proud of here in the studio. The 2011 Linc Energy Annual Report focused on a modern and corporate design to visually communicate some of Linc Energy’s core business values – a cleaner energy future. The landscape report featured an abundance of white space creating a clean and seamless feel throughout the report. Strong branding was kept through the use of colour and graphic elements, while the content of the report focused on the employees who help take the company from strength to strength.

Check out our latest addition of branding for Cove Bar & Dining. The Room is delighted to announce they officially opened on Friday Night on South Bank and we hope some of you had chance to check it out - but if not, don't worry, we have some snaps below of the branding in situ.

Meet the Interns!

Leah studied BA Fine Arts (specialised in Time Based Media) at London Metropolitan University and after her Internships in London, she thought she'd travel the long way round (7 months and 8 different countries later) to Australia, to see how we do it down-under! She's concentrating on copywriting, proofing, updating our social networking sites and generally being a helping hand to the studio managers.

Annemarie studies Media and Design at the Hof University, Germany. Having the chance to Intern overseas, she chose Australia for the experience of a new country and to improve her English Language skills. When she's not in the office, she'll be snapping away on her camera indulging her interest in Photography. In the studio though, she's working on Graphic Design, Illustration and Corporate Design.

Here's some of our latest work - as Annual Report season draws to a close, we'd like to share the best and brightest of the lot. Below you can find Cape Alumina, Blue Energy and Cath-RX Annual Reports, we hope you like them! we do!

Cape Alumina Annual Report 2011 ^

For Cape Aluminia we combined strong earthly tones within a clean, corporate layout in-keeping with previous reports to create a sense of continuity within the company and its identity. We used block colours throughout and created flowing features by the use of large images across double pages.

Cath-RX Annual Report 2011 ^

We created not only a compendium but also a marketing piece that incorporated the feel of modern technology through font styles, imagery used and the content given. Careful consideration was made to depict a strong brand identity throughout.

Blue Energy Annual Report 2011 ^

For the Blue Energy report we blended a monochromic colour scheme with splashes of the Blue corporate colour and mixed this with bold, intense photography. We gave a modern twist to a clean, crisp Annual Report by using techniques such as step-cut for the pages, which creates a new feel for the reports contents page and finishing touches including spot-UV and embossing.

Our first Annual Report to print, for Mackay Sugar, can be seen below. We're now on to our last... so celebrations will be coming up fast!

For the design we concentrated on creating a clean, corporate feel by utilising a combination of white space and imagery to create harmony throughout. The stock used was made from recycled sugar cane, reflecting the company's ethics. The whole report was wire bound with a wrap-around on the 8pp cover, culminating in a matt cellophane finish, for a professional, clean look.
